This will portray my culture and tradition as a Maranaw. This will make readers understand a Maranaw culture including their beliefs and practices. As a Maranaw, we are limited to our religion as Muslim. All Issues here will not include "haram" or undesirable behavior that are not acceptable to our society.

shyme: I am secondary school principal and a teacher in Mathematics. I started teaching as a volunteer for two years and was permanently appointed as teacher. Later, I was designated as school principal to a Barangay High School in our locality. I like teaching as a profession because of a legacy that we have for the students and the community.

The Essence of Maratabat

Maratabat in Maranaw has become their trade mark. It is a feeling that once it strikes and tender its stability to once heart, we can say that, that Maranaw is willing to die for it. It is a sense of pride which form a solid mark that cannot be erase nor vanish with out self-satisfaction. However, in an instance, it limits the Maranaw's way of life. They knew where to park, to which their ego is untouchable. This made us Maranaw distinct from other tribe.
